However I can’t resist commenting on how everyday wares are turned into collectors items. The likes of this butter container from Rörstrand, Picknick no 44, designed by Marianne Westman in the 1960’s, are now sold on auctions even in England. On one hand this is an acknowledgement to fine Swedish design and a sign that it should be valued.
